NEW ISSUE: Digital edition now online

It’s been a hectic start to 2016 with lots of exciting events happening around Rotherham. This year is well and truly shaping up to be spectacular for the town, and we can’t wait to be there every step of the way.

This issue is peppered with ideas for change in the New Year, from the latest in cutting edge beauty products on page 15 to Lee Bestall’s technological gardening tips on 34.

We start the first issue of 2016 with a beautiful 11 page wedding feature. So ladies and gents, if you’re planning your big day and you’re in desperate need of that picturesque venue or some top-notch transport, then look no further.

Starting on page four you will see numerous luxury venues offering the best settings for your perfect wedding day, you well and truly do not want to miss it.

We have inspirational interior hints from award winning designer Jamie Hempsall. He tells us to ‘be bold’ when it comes to fabrics and patterns in the home, on page 26.

He also provides us with some quirky yet stylish side tables on page 30, to help bring that little bit of fun to your homes.

Chase caught up with dog behaviour expert Neil Losada on page 38 to find out how his help can bring the best out of your four legged furry friend, the man can literally work wonders!

This issue we enjoyed food reviews at the Parish Oven in Thorpe Salvin and the recently renovated Duke of Leeds in Wales. Find out what we filled our faces with on pages 40 and 44.

Ever heard of a beer tasting event? Wine tasting is fairly common, but beer tasting was a new one to us here at Chase.

That’s when we decided to get ourselves off to Napoleons Casino and Restaurant in Owlerton to try one of the events, see how we got on on page 46.

We also have a mega travel feature for you to enjoy and also to help you decide whether you want to sun it up abroad or enjoy our shores this summer.

We have a trip with a difference with Adele Forrest, a trip to Europe with Antony Clay and a family break with Michael Upton, plus a whole heap more, starting on page 55.

We also meet legendary Barnsley sculptor Graham Ibbeson on page 66 as he talks us thorugh his famous works of art, and his history in the business.

With all of that tip-top content, plus tons more, your first Chase of 2016 should hopefully be a pleasent one.

Wishing every reader and resident of Rotherham a healthy and prosperous 2016.

All the best,
