Staff at local estate agent ELR swapped their suits for running gear last Sunday when they took on the annual 10k challenge held at Chatsworth; taking their total fund raising amount for the charity to around £2,000.
In spite of terrible, wet conditions, ELR had six runners in the 10k event.
ELR Managing Director Chris Thomson said: “The work of Helen’s Trust is invaluable to those who have received the terrible news that they are suffering from terminal illness. The ELR team is proud to be supporting such a worthy cause.”
Heidi Hawkins, Helen’s Trust CEO said: “The Chatsworth 10K is a key milestone in our calendar, raising both awareness and funds for people with terminal illness who wish to stay at home in the final stages of their illness. As a small, local charity we depend on volunteers and businesses that help us in our mission.
“ELR has been a longstanding supporter for a number of years and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole team for their ongoing commitment and financial contributions for which we are extremely grateful.”
