Meadowhall invites Harry Potter enthusiasts to debut Book Night
Meadowhall Shopping Centre is calling out for all wizards, witches and even ‘muggles’ to head to the retail destination this Thursday as they prepare for Waterstones’ first ever Harry Potter Book Night.
The event, which is part of the new Bloomsbury Harry Potter Book Nights, will see Harry Potter fans don their best cloaks and hats as they enter the store in anticipation of the magical activities that will unfold.
Waterstones’ Event Manager, Emma Brown said: “The unforgettable stories by JK Rowling really do inspire children to read a lot more in their spare time and the Book Night on Thursday will encourage them to do so further.
“We have lots of activities planned at Meadowhall on the evening including games, readings and quizzes – there will even be a best dressed competition.
“We are really looking forward to seeing all the children in their Hogwarts attire.”
The Book Night will take place from 6pm – 8pm on Thursday, February. For more information, please visit http://www.meadowhall.co.uk/event_profile.aspx?id=23255
