The Pumpkin House arrives in-centre offering spook-tacular fun for kids
Meadowhall is inviting fearless young customers from across the region to get into the spirit of Halloween and celebrate the spooky holiday in-centre.
Youngsters are being welcomed to come along to the Shopping Centre in their creepy costumes and spine-chilling suits to mark the eerie occasion by getting involved with the spook-tacular craft sessions taking place on the malls.
To honour Halloween, Meadowhall will host a huge Pumpkin House throughout the October half-term (October 25-31) which will offer courageous children the chance to enter into the unknown and get involved in creepy crafts and ghoulish games.
The free of charge activities will run from 10am – 4pm each day* and include opportunities for kids to create hair-raising Halloween hats – just the thing to top off a frightening fancy dress outfit – decorate their very own Trick or Treat Buckets and enjoy being transformed from little angels into marvellous monsters with a face painting workshop!
Meadowhall Event Manager Alex Caley said: “We know that kids love to get into the spirit of Halloween and that’s why we are inviting them to dress up and enjoy the creepy celebration in the warm, safe environment of Meadowhall rather than trick or tricking from door to door on a dark, cold October evening.
“Not only that, we are also hosting the amazing Pumpkin House in-centre allowing youngsters to prepare for the frightening festivities – we have creative craft sessions throughout the school holidays with everything from hat making through the face painting and it’s all free of charge- so come along and join us for our special half-term Halloween fun.”
* Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times.
